Clinical aspects This patient is a 67-year-old woman with cardiovascular risk factors and ischemic cardiomyopathy, with severe left ventricular systolic dysfunction. Cardiac catheterization disclosed multivessel coronary disease and apical akinesis with an intracavitary thrombus.
