Arterial hypertension is highly prevalent in developed and developing countries. Together with high blood glucose levels, hyperlipidemia, overweight and obesity, it is considered a consequence of behavioral risk factors such as physical inactivity, tobacco use, harmful alcohol use and inadequate diets.
