Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) has been shown to be increasingly prevalent worldwide. Clinical diagnosis is based on evaluation of the ankle brachial index (ABI), where the ankle systolic blood pressure (BP) is divided by the systolic BP of the arm.² Value <0.9 indicate the presence of PAD.
