Publication of Congress Supplements

ABC Cardiol accepts for publication supplements of free topics presented at the Brazilian Congress of Cardiology and at congresses of specialized societies and departments affiliated with the SBC.

Starting in 2025, supplements of free topics from regional society congresses will be published exclusively in our partner journal, the International Journal of Cardiovascular Sciences. Click here to learn more.

To request publication, contact us via email at revista@cardiol.br, at least 30 days before the event, stating your interest in publishing the free topics, the name of the event, its location, and date.

The requester will be responsible for formatting the free topics according to the template (.indd format – InDesign) and fonts provided by the SBC editorial office.

The graphic design cannot be altered under any circumstances.

The SBC editorial office must receive the formatted document by email in PDF format, 7 days prior to the event, for review.

The requester must make the necessary adjustments and return the revised PDF for final approval by the editorial office.

If no further changes are needed, the SBC editorial office will arrange for the publication of the supplement on the journal’s website.

It is recommended to publish the supplement in the same month as the event.

The Department of Cardiovascular Imaging and the Department of Heart Failure (DIC and DEIC, respectively) will have their congress supplements published in their respective journals (ABC Imagem Cardiovascular and ABC Heart Failure & Cardiomyopathy).
